A group of resident veterans, past and present, is posed in front a background depicting the large former U. S. Navy base in Long Beach, which is now closed down. In the upper left are symbols representing veterans from minority groups as well as a Purple Heart Medal to honor all veterans who sacrificed for our country. In the background sky on the right, a formation of planes flies a "missing man" formation to honor service members killed in the line of duty.
