These two images in the mural are (left to right): 1. The last of the free-living Gabrielino Indians (who inhabited the Long Beach area) from a photo taken in 1853, 2. Stunt flying at Earl Daugherty Aviation on Willow Ave. circa 1920 (Mr Daugherty pioneered aviation in Long Beach and later moved his airstrip and started what is now the present-day location of Long Beach Airport).
