South Park Mural

This mural depicts scenes from life in and around Billings, Montana, and in particular life in the South Side neighborhood of Billings.

Some of the images are historical and some are contemporary.

The mural is painted along one whole side of a building in South Park. The building is attached to a community swimming pool; the left-hand side of the building is dressing rooms for boys, the right-hand side for girls; the center is the entrance into the pool.

The pool and pool building are a gathering place for young people and families in the summer.

The mural celebrates life in the West, in Billings, and in the South Side neighborhood, across the railroad tracks from downtown Billings.
