Vale, Oregon "Mural In A Weekend" |
This "Mural in A Weekend" about early transportation in the town of Vale, Oregon, depicts a town gas station at the beginning of the automobile era. Other images depict an early "horseless carriage" with a woman driver, a horse and buggy, and an early tanker truck. The mural was painted using pre-mixed colors by Art and a large group of volunteers in one weekend, after being laid out on the wall the week beforehand. The mural is on the side of a present-day gas station in Vale.
